Watch: Ally Lewber Speaks Out Following Boyfriend James Kennedy's Arrest For Domestic Violence

Ally Lewber is eager to start her next chapter.

Two months after her and Vanderpump Rules James Kennedy broke up, the astrology guru reflected on the romance and where she stands with it now.

“It was difficult,” Ally explained in a March 26 teaser for her upcoming podcast, StarStruck, which officially airs April 2, with new episodes every Wednesday. “Very public. I recognize now that that was a toxic relationship.”

The 29-year-old—who began dating James in 2022—noted that her supporters got her through the breakup, which happened shortly after James’ December domestic violence arrest.

“I’m grateful for being on the other side of it,” she continued. “I’m grateful for all of your comments and DMs and all of the support that you guys have shown me. It’s actually been so encouraging and helpful, truly. I have a great support system here in LA. I’m grateful for my friends, my mom.”

And now, Ally—who joined Vanderpump Rules 10th season in 2023 before its entire cast was scrapped the following year—emphasized that she’s moving on to bigger and better things.

“I just want you guys to know that I’m good—I’m great,” she teased. “I have a new place and I’ve been enjoying decorating it. I’m really looking forward to this new era where I can focus on astrology and my passion and no more DJs or reality TV.”

Part of that era is, of course, Ally’s new podcast which will see her give celebrity guests a full breakdown of their astrological charts.

“We’ll be breaking down their birth charts from career highs to romantic lows,” Ally added. “Where nothing is off limits.”

E! News has reached out to reps for James regarding Ally’s comments but has not yet heard back.

But while Ally has landed among the stars since her breakup, she previously criticized her ex’s domestic violence arrest, saying she was not “physically hurt” amid the altercation.

She added of the DJ, "We are no longer together, but I'll always support James and wish him the best with his sobriety and healing.”

As for James—who was previously engaged to fellow VPR alum Rachel “Raquel” Leviss until 2021—he’s making “meaningful changes” in his life following his arrest.

“I am taking time to focus on my sobriety, personal growth, and being present for loved ones,” the 32-year-old wrote in a December 17 Instagram Story. “Navigating challenging moments is not easy, but I am determined to learn, grow, and move forward with the incredible support system around me.”

And earlier this year he shared his progress, writing in a January Instagram Story, “48 days sober.”
