Why Khloe Kardashian "Despises" Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner Being Called Her Half-Sisters

Khloe Kardashian has some advice for keeping up with her siblings.

While the Kardashians star has quite the extensive family tree, she revealed she’s not a fan of poring over how exactly everyone is related—especially sisters Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner.

“I absolutely despise when people call Kendall and Kylie our half-sisters,” Khloe told mom Kris Jenner on the March 12 episode of her Khloe In Wonderland podcast. “Because I’m like, ‘No, those are my real sisters. I was born and raised with them, spent every minute with them.’ And so I really find that insulting when people say that about us.”

After Kris’ 1991 divorce from Robert Kardashian—who, along with Khloe, is father to Kourtney Kardashian, 45, Kim Kardashian, 44, and Rob Kardashian, 37, with the matriarch—the media mogul wed Caitlyn Jenner, who was already dad to Burt Jenner, 46, Cassandra Marino, 44, Brandon Jenner, 43, and Brody Jenner, 41, from previous relationships.

Following their 1991 nuptials, Kris and Caitlyn—who parted ways in 2013—went on to welcome Kendall, 29, and Kylie, 27, and since then, the parents have made sure to keep a blended family.

“I don’t remember there ever needing to be a discussion,” Khloe, 40, recalled. “Even with my dad, I felt like... we’ve always had this really strong family dynamic.”

Kris, 69, elaborated on her friendly post-split relationship with Robert, who died in 2003, noting that he became known as “Uncle Robert” to her kids with Caitlyn.  

“We did everything together,” she told Khloe, “and nobody was ever left out. Not even your dad.”

Meanwhile, Brody, recently shared his perspective on his upbringing in such a large family, pointing out that while he wasn’t raised under the same roof as his sisters, he still shares a special bond with his siblings.

“We all have a tremendous amount of love for each other, even Kendall and Kylie,” the Hills alum said on The Viall Files podcast in January. “It’s not their fault, it’s not my fault, it’s not really anybody’s fault. It’s just, yeah, they don’t live that far, but we lived in two different households growing up.”
