Khloe Kardashian isn’t passing judgment when it comes to Ozempic.
The Kardashians star—who has been candid about her fitness journey over the years—shared her take on the Type 2 diabetes medication, which is often used for weight management.
“Even if people get surgery or [get on] the Ozempic craze, I’m like, ‘Who cares!’” the 40-year-old told Bustle in an interview published Dec. 3. “As long as people feel good about themselves, who am I to judge? I think it’s ridiculous, the judgment on that.”
Khloe added, “I’m just mad [Ozempic] wasn’t around 10 years ago.”
Last January, some of her social media followers speculated that she was taking the drug after posting photos of her trim figure on Instagram, but she didn’t take the criticism lying down.
“Let’s not discredit my years of working out,” Khloe wrote back to one user in the comments section of her post. “I get up 5 days a week at 6am to train. Please stop with your assumptions.”
And while the Good American founder knows how to clap back at her critics, that doesn’t mean she’s not affected by public perception. After an unauthorized photo of Khloe in a bikini leaked online in 2021, she shared a candid message with fans about how her battle with body image fueled her desire to focus on her fitness.
“For over a decade now in photos, every single flaw and imperfection has been micro-analyzed and made fun of to the smallest detail and I am reminded of them everyday by the world,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “And when I take that criticism to use as motivation to get myself in the best shape of my life and to even help others with the same struggles I am told I couldn't have done it through hard work and I must have paid for it all.”
“We are all unique and perfect in our own way,” Khloe concluded. “Just do you and make sure your heart is happy.”
