Bebe Rexha and G-Eazy's working relationship isn't meant to be
In fact, the "I'm Good (Blue)" singer went all in as she called out the "Him & I" rapper—whom she collaborated with on 2015's "Me, Myself & I"—when it was suggested by someone on her team that the two partner on shooting social content.
"@geazy you have my number," wrote Bebe on Instagram Stories June 13, alongside a screenshot of the texted request. "Why don't you text me and ask me yourself you stuck up ungrateful loser."
Noting that the rapper is "lucky people are liking you again," the 34-year-old added, "Cause I could go in on all the sh--ty things you've done and how you treated me after giving you your only real hit."
"Btw the answer is no," Bebe concluded. "Hope you good."
Bebe and G-Eazy haven't collaborated on a song since their 2015 hit. However, Bebe has since expressed that she enjoyed working with the "Lady Killers II" rapper.
"It's interesting, we're like the same person," she told HipHopDX in 2017. "We're both 27. We both went to school for music management. We love music. I think we're just kind of on the same wavelength when it comes to just wanting to be iconic."
Bebe added, "Working with him is just such an incredible energy and chemistry. I think we have an amazing chemistry when it comes to music."
As for G-Eazy, the 35-year-old previously shared insight into how he and Bebe wrote "Me, Myself & I," saying that he heard a scratch demo she had done and immediately knew her lyrics were special.
"I just felt like, wow, this is something really big," he explained on The Tonight Show's "How I Wrote That Song" series in 2016. "Something universal that the world would feel, but that I feel and relate to where my head is at right now."
