Typically, sunglasses don't last very long. Other sunglass lenses pop out, the little screws come out and an earpiece is unattached. Or the plastic arm wears out and breaks for no know reason. This is NOT these sunglasses. They're comfortable, light, durable - and they look cool too. Plus they block out those sun rays that are so hard on my baby blues. I wear them year-round, walking, driving, everywhere. Being as they are plastic - they will scratch, but I'm careful and keep my glasses in a case when I'm not wearing them, and I have only 1 tiny scratch after 1 1/2 years wearing them nearly every day.

I have recently graduated from prescription sunglasses to regular over-the-counter sunglasses. I leave them everywhere, so didn't want to spend a fortune. These are lightweight, and seem to provide ample protection from the sun's glare. The only drawback is that they are a bit stiff to open and close, but hopefully this will improve over time. They fit well and are nice-looking.

I definitely recommend these if you're looking for basic, not-too-expensive sunglasses.
