I started using all of the olaplaex products in 2020, after i ruined my hair trying to remove all the dark brown box dye from my hair. I no longer need the restorative shampoo/ cream rinse or #3. however I have continued using their hair oil and #6. Those two products are a game changer in my hair care routine. #6 is a excellent leave in conditioner that gives some protection from heat and the oil helps to hold the moisture in the ends and gives my hair a smoother appearance.

First off, this is my personal experience and I'm not sure what would be typical.

I am a older man who always had short hair, but started growing his hair out during Covid. Turns out I have magnificent naturally blonde curly hair. As it has gotten longer (currently shoulder length) it has become a bit unruly to take care of. I have gone through quite a few different hair care products having settled on "Mirta De Perales I Love My Curls", with my girlfriend recommending "Mielle Organics Honey & Ginger Styling Gel". The Mielle burns my head (yes its all natural, but whatever), so I have stuck with the Mirta De Perales... Until now.

Got the recommendation from a Youtube video for guys of all things, and got to try it a few days ago. This little bottle only squirts out a small amount, so I got three squirts.... WAY too much, but my hair probably needed it to start with. I wash my hair only once or twice a week, but I was kinda eager to see what this does. Washed my hair this morning, and I literally had NO knots in my hair. I had the smallest of tangles in the front, but I usually get a ton of tangles or knots in the back from sleeping, which usually results in lots of broken hair and pain and wondering why I'm growing my hair. All gone.

After washing, I just put the smallest amount (one squirt) in my hands and rubbed them together before applying to my wet hair. It was full coverage, it dried quickly, and my hair is flippin amazing. Like I seriously am wondering how I got along without it before. I still have all my curls, but they are much softer with no frizz and NO TANGLES!! I will 100% get this again. If you are on the fence, just do it.

My hair routine is based upon the trinity hair routine by the youtuber with the channel Live Love Locks.
I have fine hair and the concerns I had were hair fall and damage.
The routine goes like this-
1. Redken volume injection shampoo + conditioner.
2. Moroccan hair spray

I would highly recommend this hair routine. For a different hair concern, I would highly recommended the yt channel Live Love Locks. It has transformed my hair with excellent advice and product recommendations.
