If you love to burn scented candles, you will find that the wick needs maintenance from time to time. After trying to handle with my DIY makeshift tools, this set is a pleasure. You can trim the wick and these scissors catch the end without it falling into the wax. There is a tool for excavating the wick if it gets buried in wax. The wick snuffer prevents the spray of molten wax that can occur with pillar candles when you blow them out. All in all, very useful. Tools are well made. The tray for holding the tools is a nice extra. This would make a wonderful gift! Boxed so prettily it doesn't even need giftwrapping.
