I haven't used in microwave, as there is no need for my usage. But its microwave safe and BPA Free.

The snack cup is…
- almost leakproof (only few drops of water while testing, other things haven’t leaked yet);
- wide in its mouth: easy to fill, easy to wash; and
- reversible; the middle separator can be flipped and still fits. This is great for littles who may not always take note of which side was up or down

I’ve tried many of the popular things: chips n salsa, guac, pb n celery, etc. I’ve also done rice & veggies or noodles & veggies for littles who don’t like foods touching; or a more wet food on one side and a drier/more crispy food on the other so it won’t get soggy. The possibilities truly are endless!

Poor design if your using the little cup for a dip cup since it sits upside down while attached to the cup. A better design would either to have the “dip cup”on the bottom so it sits right side up or even have it sit right side up on top of the cup and not upside down. Probably ok if an adult is using this item and knows but for little kids it’s a no.
