Watch: Savannah Chrisley Says Her Life Is "Falling Apart"

The latest episode of Savannah Chrisley's Unlocked podcast began a bit differently than others.

That's because the Growing Up Chrisley star addressed her parents Todd and Julie Chrisley's prison sentencings, which they began serving on Jan. 17 before the episode's release.

"Last week was an extremely difficult week for my family as a whole and for each of us individually," Savannah began her Jan. 24 podcast. "We kind of had to say goodbye to my parents for somewhat, for a little bit of time, for the foreseeable future, and that was really, really, really tough. And I haven't filmed a podcast since then."

As she went on to clarify, the episode was filmed "prior to my life falling apart," specifically on Jan. 12, which also happens to be Julie's birthday.

Savannah stated that although she may seem "happy-go-lucky" during the episode—which is titled "Life, Liberty & the Pursuit of Pop-Tarts"—she attributes her positive mood to the fact that she "wasn't faced with the reality of the situation."

Todd and Julie were sentenced to serve 12 and seven years behind bars, respectively, in November 2022 after being found guilty of conspiracy to commit bank fraud and wire fraud in June.

"This was kind of pre-life falling apart," the 25-year-old stated, "and now, podcasts that I do going forward will be post."

She even teased that the following week's episode will be a "one-on-one podcast with myself" to give fans an update on everything from her life to how her family members are handling Todd and Julie's sentencing. She will share an update on how her parents are doing, as she explained, "Because you guys don't have one yet."

"I'm really looking forward to giving that update," Savannah said, "because I've seen God work in the craziest of circumstances."

Encouraging fans to enjoy the episode, Savannah wrapped up her intro on a heartfelt note, stating, "Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for supporting me, my family and Unlocked."
